With one meet remaining until the Conference Championship, eight members of the Florida Atlantic cross country team ran a personal best at the Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic. All seven of the women ran their best race of the season.

Greg Burke and Claudia Beitel continued to lead the pack of FAU runners as they finished first for the Owls. Burke finished with a time of 27:12 in the 8,000 meter run while Beitel set a season-record time of 19:23 in the 5,000. Krysta Johnson (21:05), Jill Gnieski (21:13), Danielle Weiss (22:08), Lori Craig (22:45), Jessica Santangelo (23:24), and Cindy Lane (24:27) also set season bests.

Next weekend the team will run in the Greentree Invitational in Miami, FL.
