Cross Country Finishes 8th and 9th at Seminole Invite

In the second meet of the season, Florida Atlantic University finished eighth and ninth in men's and women's cross country at the Seminole Invite hosted by Florida State University.

Claudia Beitel finished first for the Lady Owls for the second time this season. Her final time was 24:37.29 in the 6,000 Meter Run and earned her a 29th place finish. Greg Burke (Lantana, FL) finished 30th with a time of 27:11.37 in the 8,000 Meter Run, his best time this year.

Brian Mulvaney finished right behind Burke in 32nd place with a time of 27:30.72.

The teams will next travel to the Disney World Classic on October 6.
