ORLANDO, FL -

Florida Atlantic University's inaugural women's track and field team finished competition at its first Trans America Athletic Conference Championship Saturday in Orlando.

Among the Lady Owls' performances was a fourth-place finish by Princess Williams in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.09. Cindy Lane placed fifth in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles with a time of 1:04.35. In addition, FAU finished 4th in the 4x100-meter relay with a 47.00.

Daveidra Jenkins, who qualified in Friday's preliminaries in the 100-meter dash finished 7th on Saturday with a 12.23. Jenkins was 9th in the 200-meter dash (25.07) while teammate Tangela Rogers finished 11th (25.60).

In the 1,500-meter run, Claudia Beitel placed 6th (4:52.01) while Susanne Rowe followed in 7th-place (5:00.02).
