Florida Atlantic University traveled to the University of Georgia for the Spec Towns Invitational and their final meet of the regular season. Claudia Beitel (2:22.85) and Susan Rowe (2:24.03) earned the highest finishes of the season with second and third place in the 800 meter run, respectively.

In the 1500 meter run, Beitel again finished in the top five with a time of 4:51.50, while Rowe ran a time of 4:58.90 and placed ninth. Beitel, Amy Schmidt, and Kathleen Gouldy all competed in the 5000 meter run where they took fourth through sixth place.

The relays were again a strength for the Lady Owls. They competed in the 4x100 meter relay and came in third, 48.04. The 4x400 meter relay finished with a time of 4:07.50 and earned a fifth place finish.

Celena Bibbins was able to improve her time in the 400 meter intermediate hurdles and placed fourth with a time of 1:05.71. Teammate Erica Emmerson finshed 3 ½ seconds behind Bibbins for fifth place.

Florida Atlantic will next compete in the TAAC Championship, April 20 in Orlando, FL.
