MIAMI, FL -

The Florida Atlantic University women's track team continued its inaugural season this weekend at the FIU Invitational in Miami, FL.

The Lady Owls had several strong performances including a 5th place finish by Susanne Rowe in the 800-meter run. Kathleen Gouldy and Amy Schmidt each placed fourth and fifth, respectively, in the 3,000-meter.

Meanwhile, Claudia Beitel and Gouldy were seventh and eighth in the 1,500-meter while Daveidra Jenkins finished 9th in the 200-meter dash.

FAU as a team placed 5th in the 4x100 relay.
