LaVonne Idlette enters her first season as a volunteer assistant for the FAU track and field program. She assists all Owls coaches, as well as handling several of the administrative duties.

LaVonne graduated from Hampton University with a degree in business management with a minor in finance in May of 2007. She competed for the HU track and field team from 2004-2007. She competed in hurdles, sprints, jumps and multi-events. She was a multiple time All-MEAC performer and NCAA regional and national qualifier.

She was also a member of the several academic honor clubs and a student-athlete Dean's List member while an undergraduate at Hampton. LaVonne is currently a graduate student working towards her MBA.
