Track Team Prepares for Sun Belt Outdoors
The Florida Atlantic University track team will head to Denton, Texas for the Sun Belt Outdoor Track and Field Championships from Friday, May 9 through Sunday, May 11
The Owls will head to the meet, hosted by the University of North Texas, with the intention of improving last year's eighth place finish. At last year's meet, FAU tallied nine top-10 finishes and had the 4x400 meter relay team register a regional qualifying time. |

Track Runs at Penn Relays
Friederike Feil ran a Sun Belt record 10:38.06 in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the Penn Relays over the weekend.
She joins Toyria Mattear as an automatic qualifier for the NCAA East Regional in Tallahassee, FL. Her time is one of the 10 best times in the region this year.
This is the second year in a row that Feil has automatically qualified for NCAA Regional in the steeplechase. Her time of 10:49.93 last season was a then school record. Her qualifying time this season is an improvement of almost 12 seconds from last season's time. In the 400 meter hurdles, Lindsay Glover finished 14th in a time of 1:01.45. |
