Feil Sets School Record at German Nationals
Rising senior Friederike Feil once again set a school record in the 3,000 meter steeplechase, this time at the German National Track and Field Championships over the weekend.

Owls to be Represented at the Maccabiah Games
Florida Atlantic University Head Cross Country and Track Coach Alex Smolka and cross country runner Eric Dansky will take part in the 18th Maccabiah Games, taking place in Israel from July 13-23, 2009. Smolka was named head coach of the United States Women's Track and Field team in October 2008. Smolka will be making his first trip to the games as a coach. He made the U.S. team as an alternate in the triathlon in 1993. He qualified as a triathlete again in 2001, but the event was canceled.
