After the first week of competition in the Sun Belt Conference, Jennifer Forcht and Jennifer Henderson earned Swimming and Diving Performers of the Week. In her first collegiate meet, Forcht won four events, while Henderson led the team in the one-meter diving event to guide Florida Atlantic University to a win over the University of Miami.

A freshman from Louisville, KY, Forcht took first in the 100 free (53.49), 100 fly (57.18) and was a member of the winning 200 medley relay (1:49.25) and 200 free relay (1:38.11). FAU won 11 events in the 160-129 win over the Hurricanes.

Henderson (Fort Myers, FL) placed third on the one-meter board with a score of (216.38) and sixth in the three-meter event (178.65).

The men's and women's teams both head to the University of Tampa for a meet with the Spartans on Saturday at 1 pm.
