Weberg Closes Out World University Games

Former Florida Atlantic University swimmer Ellie Weberg advanced to her fourth final of the World University Games in Bangkok, Thailand on Tuesday. In the 100m breaststroke she earned a sixth-place finish with a time of 1:08.99.

The Bloomington, MN native earned one medal at the games as the 400m medley relay earned a second-place finish. In individual events she earned two sixth-place finishes and a fifth-place finish during the week.

Weberg has qualified to compete in the U.S. Olympic Trials next summer, June 29-July 6, 2008 in Omaha, NE.
