Florida Atlantic University's diving program earned its first Sun Belt Conference Diver-of-the-Week recognition as Nick McMahon captured the award this past week. McMahon leads the program in both the one and three-meter events.

A freshman from Cincinnati, OH, McMahon took second in both the one and three-meter events in a dual meet with Denver and Clemson. The freshman fell just three points shy of his season-high on the one-meter board with a score of 222.65. He took second on the three-meter board with 229.2 points.

On January 6, he won the three-meter event at the FAU Winter Invite with a score of 224.5 and finished the one-meter event with 224.1 points.

The men's and women's swimming and diving teams will compete on Friday when they host Puerto Rico and UNLV at 2 pm at FAU Pool.
