 Swimming Defeats Miami
Oct. 25, 2003 The Florida Atlantic University women's swim team defeated the University of Miami for the first time in coach Steve Eckelkamp's 14 years at FAU 162-126. Despite not having any divers at the meet in Coral Gables and giving up an automatic 26 points the Lady Owls pulled out a 36 point victory. FAU swept the 100 and 200 breaststroke and the 200 free. Official times for the meet are currently unavailable.
Florida Atlantic travels to Florida State University on November 1 to face the Seminoles.
