Weberg Participates Again at NCAA Championships

Final Stats

A day after swimming in the 100-meter breaststroke at the NCAA Championships, becoming the first swimmer since 1997 to participate in the event, Ellie Weberg competed in the 200-meter breaststroke.

The freshman from Bloomington, MN finished 39th in the preliminaries with a time of 2:34.12. Weberg set the FAU record in the 200 breast at the Minnesota Invitational and earned a 'B' cut time of 2:16.63. She was unable to improve upon this time at the NIC meet, however she did set the NIC record and the pool record (University of Oakland) of 2:16.95.

Birte Steven, from Oregon State, won the event with a time of 2:22.97.
