As a Freshman ('04-'05): After not competing in the first half of the season he swam season-bests at the conference championships...in the 50 free he swam a 22.21 and in the 100 free a 49.62.

High School: Attended R.L. Turner High School and swam for Brad Bridgewater...earned most improved honors his freshman year and was named MVP sophomore through senior seasons...holds the school record in the 100 free...senior class Vice President and founder of the J.E.T. Club.
