As a Sophomore ('05-`06): Placed eighth in the 200 free at the conference championships with a season-best 1:43.17...also swam his fastest time of the season in the 500 free (4:52.47) to earn a fifth place finish.

As a Freshman ('04-'05): Finished fifth in the 200 free at the Sun Belt Championships with the fastest time of the season for the team, 1:42.47...also had season-bests in the 100 and 500 free...he advanced to the finals in both events and finished with times of 47.49 and 4:42.79, respectively.

High School: Swam for Tom Beard at Bloomingdale High School where he was named All-Conference all four seasons, All-State two seasons and holds school records in the 50 and 100 free, 100 back and 100 breast...his accomplishments garnered him the Hillsborough County Swimmer of the Year in 2003...member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Ocean engineering major who would like to become a naval architect...born Aug. 6, 1985, in Brandon, FL...son of Janet Trout...hobbies include sports and going to the beach.
