FAU's 2009 Senior Award Winners Announced
Florida Atlantic University recently announced its student-athlete awards for the 2008-09 academic year. Student-athletes were recognized today at the Senior Recognition Banquet.
The "Student-Athlete of the Year" award recognizes the male and female that best represents community service, academic performance, and athletic accomplishment equally. Female diver Lauren Harvath and men's soccer player Shire Standnes earned the award. |

Sun Belt Conference Championships Update
The Florida Atlantic University swim and dive team completed day one of the 2009 Sun Belt Conference Championships last night in Nashville, Tennessee. The women are in third and the men are eighth. FAU swam well in all four of the relay events and the 200 yard medley relay team set a new school record. The team, composed of Lindsey Alexander, Kalina Neal, Jonna Nyback and Stephanie DeRito, lowered the school record mark to 1:43.02 |
