Dr. Len Remia joined Florida Atlantic University in 2005 as Medical Director and team orthopedic surgeon. He graduated from Boston University School of Medicine Magna Cum Laude and completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Remia will work with FAU as part of the Florida Atlantic - Cleveland Clinic Florida partnership. At Cleveland Clinic, Remia serves the Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Head of Sports Medicine.

Dr. Remia completed his fellowship training in sports medicine at the Kerlan-Jobe Clinic in Los Angeles, CA.

He has authored several studies and presentations on various subjects, mostly in the area of joint surgery and sports related injuries.

Dr. Remia is a current member of the AAOS, AOSSM, and the American Medical Association. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and holds licenses in MA, CA, and FL.

He currently resides in Ft. Lauderdale, FL with his wife Lauren and his son Harrison.
