Jared Plummer joined the Florida Atlantic Sports Medicine department as an assistant athletic trainer in June 2007 after serving on the athletic training staff at the University of Maryland.
While at Maryland, Plummer was the athletic trainer for Terrapin baseball and assisted with football and men's lacrosse . He was responsible for the Terps daily baseball medical operations along with pre-game meals and travel logistics.
A 2004 athletic training graduate of East Carolina University, Plummer earned his master's in Exercise Science with a concentration in Health Studies from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2006. While at Southeastern, Plummer was a graduate assistant athletic trainer coordinating Lions' athletic training coverage, pregame meals and taught students in the school's CAAHP-accredited athletic training program.
A native of Edenton, N.C., Plummer is certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification and a member of the Southeast Athletic Trainers' Association.
He currently resides in Boca Raton, FL.
