Garrick Edwards now in his second season with the Florida Atlantic Men's Basketball team is serving as Associate Athletic Trainer for FAU Sports Medicine. Edwards came to FAU after spending four seasons at the University of Miami, working closely with the Hurricanes hoop team. Prior to his stint at Miami he worked as Assistant Athletic Trainer for the NFL's New England Patriots from 2002-2003.
Edwards received a Masters degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Miami while he worked as Graduate Assistant Trainer with the 2001 National Champion Hurricane football team and 2001-02 Big East Champion Track teams.
Edwards completed his undergraduate studies at Kansas State University in 2000 and during his time at Kansas State he served as a student trainer for the football and men's basketball teams.
Edwards and his Wife, Mia live in Hollywood, Florida.
