Stacie Cox joined the Florida Atlantic Sports Medicine staff as a graduate assistant athletic trainer in August 2008 working with the Football and Tennis teams.

Cox graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2008 with a BS in Athletic Training. While at Florida Gulf Coast, she worked with the Football, Volleyball, Cheerleading, Men's and Women's basketball, and Men's and Women's Soccer teams. She also worked with Webber International University and Bonita Beach Outpatient Rehabilitation while an undergraduate.

Cox is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the Southeast Athletic Trainers' Association.
