Members of the U.S. Navy will be honored prior to Saturday's Florida Atlantic University football game against Arkansas State at 4 p.m.

The FAU Athletics Department, along with Labor Finders, Emerald Towing, Sports Clips and the School Board of Broward County, will host the service men and women of the USS Iwo Jima LHD-7 docked at Port Everglades. Members of the ship will present the colors prior to the national anthem. The Iwo Jima's Sailor of the Year will flip the coin at the start of the game. There also will be a presentation during the game honoring the men and women in the United States Navy.

The Navy has offered to host the FAU Owls, coaches and University staff aboard the ship on Monday, November 12, in conjunction with Veteran's Day.
